The switch on Celebrities

Well the wait has been worth it, today 18th June the celebrities who will switch on the 2008 Illuminations have been named. Its the presenters from Top Gear - Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond also known as Jezzer, Captain Slow and the Hamster.

But with the Top Gear presenters at the switch you can bet this will be a switch on like no other in Blackpool Illuminations 129 year history.

Will they be blowing up a caravan, attempting to set a land speed record, or will they arrive by sea in the record breaking Toyota Hi-lux boat that made it across the channel? Well we will just have to wait till the 29th August to see.
